First day back...

For many ASAE & the Center Annual Meeting attendees, today was the first day back in the office following the meeting.

So, how did it go? Were you still humming "Strategic Plan" under your breath? Did you cringe the first time someone used the word "extreme?" Did your association's HQ seem strangely cozy compared to Opryland?

Tell us about your first-day-back experience with us, and let us know how you plan to share what you learned in Nashville with your colleagues.

WOW, what do I do first? Having joined only this spring, this was my first ASAE annual event. I see now how much information/help I have access to. I can't wait to get more involved!

The trip home was lousy and made more lousy by being tired from an overwhelming and fantastic event. I took in all that I could.

My thanks to ASAE for offering the Small Association tracks and registration discount.

I had a similar experience as Dennis. First flight out Wednesday morning, to the office by 11 am, home to repack, Thursday 6:30 am flight to San Diego, home on the red-eye for Saturday morning breakfast! But the word I most long to hear is "Organic"... It was my first ASAE and a great one at that!

Strangely enough, I returned from Nashville on Wednesday and immediately went downtown in Chcicago for three days of National Association of REALTORS Leadership meetings. So it felt like I moved from Opryland to the Sheraton Chicago Towers.

AS yesterday was actually my first day back in the office, it felt like everything was sort of surreal. Amazingly enough, we are planning our strategic plannig session/leadership retreat so the words Strategic Plan and Xtreme have been used quite a bit since my return.
