Howdy!

I'm Ben Martin, CAE from the Virginia Society of CPAs and author of the web log Certified Association Executive.

My "one big idea" before you leave for Nashville...

I would strongly suggest logging into the IntroNetworks site to complete your profile, if you haven't already done so.

The IntroNetworks site compares your interests with those of others who have completed their profiles and displays them graphically, which allows you to literally see which other attendees have things in common with you. Here's a sample of what you see on IntroNetworks:

It's a novel approach to networking, and I encourage you to give it a try. I've already contacted a few people based just on their proximity to me on the graph.

I believe you have to register for the annual meeting in order to login to IntroNetworks, Sue.

Is the IntroNetworks tool only available to those who will be attending? Unfortunately, I can't make it this year--so glad you have a blog to let me know what I'm missing!--but I'd love to give the technology a whirl if at all possible.
