Association BloggerCon

Okay, everybody, it's the moment you've all been waiting for: We are going to hold our informal Association BloggerCon on Sunday, August 14 from 8 pm-9:30 pm in the Hermitage D Room on Level M of Opryland. (Please consult our floorplan link for more details.) Our meeting will be one of several "dessert conversations" taking place in the room during this time.

Anyone who is currently blogging, as well as anyone who is interested in the whole blogging thing, is invited to participate in our meeting. The XtremeASAE Bloggers will be there and you can continue to let us know if you're able to participate by sending an e-mail to xtremeasaeblog@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you there!

Does anyone see a need for an association for Bloggers or would this be covered in Journalism/Media related associations? It sure sounds like the media is expressing the concerns that this is changing the scope of the media/internet/TV world as we know it.

I heard on NPR that the apple computer store in downtown San Fransico has a special meeting called just for bloggers and they have over 20 in attendance.

Just looking for the next wave and thought you all would be in the know.

See you in Nashville.

question... do you need to register for ASAE to be part of this discussion, or can it just be a drive-by?
